Technical Partners

No single vendor stocks the right answer for every facility

Generation OEMs sell generators. Controls manufacturers sell controls. LCI doesn't sell hardware — we sell the outcome, and we pull from a vetted bench of engineering firms and technology providers to build whatever actually pays for itself at your site.

Independence, not allegiance

We don't work for the manufacturer. We work for the facility.

Most technical proposals come pre-loaded with a bias: whatever equipment the person across the table happens to sell. That's fine when it fits — and a quiet problem when it doesn't. LCI carries no factory allegiance, so when we bring in an engineering firm, a generation provider, or a controls manufacturer, it's because their system is the one that pencils out for your load profile, your rate schedule, and your facility's actual constraints.

That's Mission Before Money in practice: we'd rather hand you a smaller, better-fitted project than a bigger one built around the wrong technology. Our partner network exists so we always have more than one honest option to bring to the table.

More on how LCI is built

Partner categories

The bench we draw from, project by project

Every engagement pulls from four groups, matched to what your facility actually needs — not a fixed bundle sold the same way every time.

How the partnership model works

Vetted first. Assigned second. Accountable always.

A partner doesn't get on the bench because they took our call — they get on it because their equipment held up under our scrutiny, and they stay on it only as long as it keeps holding up in the field.

Screen

Technical and financial diligence

Before any partner touches an LCI project, our engineering team reviews their equipment specs, warranty terms, service history, and balance sheet. We're not just checking that the gear works — we're checking that the company backing it will still be answering the phone in year eight of a fifteen-year payback.

Pilot

Proven on a real facility first

New partners earn their place on a smaller, closely monitored project before we bring them into a flagship engagement. We measure actual performance against the partner's own claims — output, uptime, efficiency gains — and only expand the relationship once the numbers hold.

Match

Assigned to fit, not to move inventory

On every engagement, LCI's engineers select the partner and technology that fit your load, your site conditions, and your payback target — never the partner with the fattest margin. If two partners could both do the job, we bring the one with the better track record on facilities like yours.

Review

Re-vetted on a standing schedule

Partners are reviewed on an ongoing basis against field performance, response times, and warranty follow-through. A partner that stops performing gets rotated out of new proposals — the bench is a living list, not a set of logos we're contractually stuck with.

The vetting standard

What it takes to stay on LCI's bench

“Performance has to match the spec sheet in the field, not just in the lab.” LCI Engineering Standard
“Warranty and service response are scored the same weight as the technology itself.” LCI Partner Review Criteria
“A partner earns a second project by delivering on the first — not by winning the pitch.” LCI Partner Review Criteria
