Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly. If you fill out a contact or quote request form, that typically includes your name, company, email address, phone number, and whatever project details you choose to share in the message field. If you sign up for Energy Insights, our technical newsletter, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name and company.

We also collect basic technical information automatically through standard web analytics — pages viewed, general location by region, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors run into trouble, and does not identify you personally on its own.

How we use it

Contact form and quote request details are used for exactly what you'd expect: so an engineer or account manager can call you back, scope your project, and follow up with a proposal. We don't route that information anywhere else internally, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in.

If you subscribe to Energy Insights, we use your email to send technical articles, case studies, and occasional service updates from LCI Energy. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and removing yourself takes effect immediately — no phone call or waiting period required.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site itself: fixing slow pages, understanding which services pages get the most attention, and deciding what to write about next in Energy Insights.

We do not sell your data

LCI Energy does not sell, rent, or trade contact information or form submissions to third parties, and we never have. Information you submit is used by our team to respond to you and, where you've opted in, to send Energy Insights content. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the site or send email (for example, a form-handling or email delivery vendor), but only to the extent needed to provide that service, and under terms that prohibit them from using it for their own purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: keeping the site functioning correctly (for example, remembering that you've dismissed a banner) and understanding traffic through a standard web analytics tool. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some conveniences like remembered preferences may not persist between visits.

How long we keep information

Quote and contact form submissions are retained as part of our normal business records for as long as needed to service the inquiry and maintain a project history. Email subscribers remain on our Energy Insights list until they unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to reasonable business record-keeping needs (for example, we may need to retain records of a completed project for warranty or compliance reasons). Unsubscribing from Energy Insights is self-service via the link in any email; for anything else, reach out using the details below.

Children

This site is intended for engineers, facility managers, and other business contacts evaluating industrial electrical services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be noted in an Energy Insights email.
